Term1 Goals;I am proud of coming 3rd place in cross country last Term
Tectonic plates
The Earth’s surface it’s called crust and its made up of tectonic plates.
When you stand on the ground it feels like the ground is not moving but it is.
Tectonic plates started to move 25 million years ago.
Tectonic plates move differently most of the time. When they do one goes up and one goes underneath it and one side by side these are the different ways they move. When tectonic plates move there are earthquakes. This can cause volcanoes to erupt. Plates are either Continental or Oceanic Plates. Continental crust is the land. Oceanic crust is the sea. When there is a earthquake it causes rips on roads and footpaths. Tectonic plates makes things change often. There are going to be a lot of earthquakes in New Zealand. The South Island and North Island are going to slowly move together over time.

Thinking Tools My goal is to learn all of my h.o.m meaning so i can use it. Reading Comprehension My goal is to have a great inprovement in reading and have a great level. Numeracy My goal is to get faster at my division and time tables so when we do tests i am all ready prepared. Social My goal is to join netball classes so when people wants to play i will say yes.

Dislikes;I dislike when people dont use the right attitude at the right time for the right reasons.
Passion;My passion is Touch because it is a good sport.
highlights;My highlights for the year is being a Whanau Kapene.
Goals;My goal is to get in the zones for Sprints.

Numeracy; I want to get faster at doing my x + - so i can move ,up levels by the end of term 4.Yes i have achieved
Social; I want to work interdependently with people. I hardly work with by the end of term 4.Yes i have achieved
On Thursday 29th October 2009 the year 6's from Addington School went to Wellington to go and vist Te Papa and Parliament.When we got there we went into our group 1,2,3,4.to go in our shuttle vans to go to Te Papa.The weather was like a ice skating road.After all 1,2,3,4.groups arrived at Te Papa
we all went inside and ate morning tea then go in our groups and go and watch cool things and try then.My highlights was the High ride it was fun because you feel like you are on a jouney but it was the best.After that we went to the Parliament and watch what they do and how they become Prime Minster and oppsition and all those things.The Parliament was awesome.When we finshed we went outside and took a photo after that we walked to the Mc Donald and ate tea then Ms Heath went because she had to do something in Wellington so we all said good bye.after Mc Donald we came back to the parliament to catch our van to go to the airport to catch our flight to Christchurch.So 10 seconds later our flight was boarding then we went on the plane and flyed all the way to Christchurch when we got to Christchurch airport we saw our parents faces they were happy to see us after that we had to see our teachers before going home then i said good bye to my teacher Mr Leslie.
